Reports to: Head of Brand Creative
Salary Range: $85,000 - $90,780k per annum

For this role, we are seeking a collaborative, high-energy marketing leader who can execute organization-wide communication strategies set by the Head of Brand Creative to drive sales, maximize revenue, and elevate the Pilot Coffee Roasters + Bridgehead Coffee across every customer touchpoint. You will empower our creative team, manage dynamic multi-channel campaigns, and bring bold ideas to life in a fast-paced environment.

People Leadership & Management

  • Direct, coach, and mentor the Photographer & Social Media Coordinator and Brand Coordinator to support their growth and build a high-performing team bench.
  • Foster an inclusive, supportive culture grounded in our core values of Relationships, Quality, and Innovation.
  • Support building marketing team capacity, capabilities, and structure to deliver exceptional customer experiences.
  • Partner with the Head of Brand Creative and People & Culture to address engagement survey feedback and enhance team experience.

Communication Strategy & Oversight

  • Execute marketing communications tied to the coffee calendar, product launches, and cafe promotions as directed by the Head of Brand Creative.
  • Proactively align strategic communications with business goals to target customers effectively across all touch points.
  • Apply and maintain a consistent brand tone of voice across social media, email, website, and internal communications.
  • Partner closely with Operations, People & Culture, and Cafe teams to align internal and external brand messaging seamlessly.

Social Media & External Branding

  • Collaborate with the Photographer & Social Media Coordinator on dynamic content calendars for Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, LinkedIn, and emerging platforms.
  • Oversee the editing, production, and distribution of external print collateral and brand materials.
  • Support external branding initiatives, PR protocols, and public communications.

Loyalty, Partnerships & External Stakeholder Management

  • Execute loyalty program communications, campaign messaging, and content delivery against the roadmap set by the Head of Brand Creative.
  • Coordinate day-to-day operations with external agencies, vendors, and service providers.
  • Coordinate and execute charitable initiatives and community events based on giving strategy and budget parameters.
  • Support existing partner relationships and research new partnership opportunities for review.

Budgeting & Industry Awareness

  • Support the preparation, monitoring, and tracking of monthly marketing communication expenditures and financial forecasts.
  • Track key developments across the coffee industry, Restaurant Canada trends, and relevant industry networks to foster continuous innovation.

Qualifications
Must haves:

  • 3–5 years of Marketing experience (CPG or Food & Beverage experience preferred).
  • 2+ years of experience leading, coordinating, or mentoring creative team members or in a communications role.
  • Post-secondary degree or diploma in Marketing Communications or a related field.
  • Strong project management, budgeting, and multi-channel marketing expertise.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Flexibility for regional travel across PCR cafes/events and occasional Canadian travel (e.g., Ottawa).

Nice to have:

  • High EQ, strong relationship management, and coaching skills.
  • Self-starter mindset with strong initiative and creative problem-solving skills.
  • Passion for specialty coffee culture and community engagement.
